monthly measurement

It's the end of the month and you know what that means! It's time to announce the monthly update via weight and measurements...


Weight: 270 pounds

Chest - 44 inches
Bra - 41 inches (measured just below bra strap, at the lungs)
Upper belly - 44.25 inches (this is the odd shaped bulge just above the belly button, aka the muffin top)
Waist - 41.25 inches
Lower belly/gut - 55 inches (lower abdomen - my thickest spot)
Hips - 49.5 inches (measured just below buttocks)
Right thigh - 31 inches
Left thigh - 31.5 inches
Right upper arm - 17 inches
Left upper arm - 17 inches

Drum roll please...

Compared to 6/11/11 measurements...

Weight loss of 12 pounds...
Cumulative inch loss of 8 inches...


CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! What a change! My clothes are fitting drastically different, I've moved down 2 sizes in tops and getting ready to make the move down in pant size.

monthly measurement

It's time to commit to this discipline again. And even though it's not the beginning of the month... well, it still means it is time for a weigh-in and measurement report. (Granted I've missed a few months... but this is a slow process.)


Weight: 282 pounds

Chest - 44 inches
Bra - 41 inches (measured just below bra strap, at the lungs)
Upper belly - 45.5 inches (this is the odd shaped bulge just above the belly button, aka the muffin top)
Waist - 43 inches
Lower belly/gut - 56.5 inches (lower abdomen - my thickest spot)
Hips - 50 inches (measured just below buttocks)
Right thigh - 33 inches
Left thigh - 32.5 inches
Right upper arm - 17.5 inches
Left upper arm - 17.5 inches

No comparison this month since it's been so long since I last measured.

July measurements

It's a new month. Which means it is time for a weigh-in and measurement report.

(Granted I've missed a few months... but this is a slow process.)

Bra - 39 inches (measured just below bra strap, at the lungs)
Upper belly - 45.5 inches (this is the odd shaped bulge just above the belly button)
Waist - 43 inches
Lower belly/hips - 56 inches (lower abdomen - my thickest spot)
Butt - 50 inches
Right thigh - 32.75 inches
Left thigh - 32 inches
Right upper arm - 17 inches
Left upper arm - 16.5 inches

Inch loss: 9 inches lost since last measurement (April)

I've dropped 1 size in tops
I've dropped 2 sizes in pants!!!


Way to go, girl!!!

February measurements

It's a new month. Which means it is time for a weigh-in and measurement report.



Weight: 283 pounds

Chest - 45.5 inches
Bra - 41.25 inches (measured just below bra strap, at the lungs)

Upper belly - 47.5 inches (this is the odd shaped bulge just above the belly button)
Waist - 44.75 inches
Lower belly/hips - 57.5 inches (lower abdomen - my thickest spot)
Butt - 52.25 inches

Right thigh - 32.75 inches
Left thigh - 32.5 inches

Right upper arm - 16 inches
Left upper arm - 16.25 inches


Inch loss: 8.5 inches lost in the last month!

January measurements

I will begin my journey with my weigh-in and measurements.

I wasn't real sure what to measure and what I need to watch - but this should cover it. I measured at the largest point of each body part.


Weight: 291 pounds

Chest - 46.5 inches
Bra - 41 inches (measured just below bra strap, at the lungs)

Upper belly - 48.5 inches (this is the odd shaped bulge just above the belly button)
Waist - 45 inches
Lower belly/hips - 59 inches (lower abdomen - my thickest spot)
Butt - 55 inches

Right thigh - 33 inches
Left thigh - 32.5 inches

Right upper arm - 17 inches
Left upper arm - 17.5 inches


Wow - that's a lot of fat!
